Has it not yet dawned on you that you can mechanically translate between the two conventions? When you type these things in, just type - instead of the shift key. One reason to prefer the Lisp style is that you type a-s-c M-tab and get anti-studly-caps. I have yet to see any abbreviation mode that takes BSC and returns BogusStudlyCaps.
