I intended "keep" as a generalized term encompassing both "collect" and "retain", the point being that COLLECT would return a freshly consed list of elements collected from the argument list, while RETAIN would (destructively) delete the unwanted elements from the argument list. #:Erik -- ATTENTION, all abducting aliens! you DON'T need to RETURN them!
