While we're on pretty printing:

I use pretty printing in Allegro CL. I would like to run my code on
other lisps. So, in the other lisps, I first load xp-code.lisp.
However, I always get run-time errors. Are there known bugs in
xp-code.lisp? You seemed to suggest that there are. Is there a
patched version?

For example, I get an error reporting that -1 was given as the first
argument to nthcdr.

The other lisps I'm referring to are CLISP and GCL.
