Subject: Limit xemacs listener buffer size?

Date: 1997-11-22 23:50

I'm using the Linux ACL with Xemacs, and was wondering if there is a way
in xemacs to limit the maximum size of the Lisp listener buffer, so that
at a certain point, the start of the session will "scroll off" the end
of the buffer.

I'm asking this because it seems that when the buffer gets too large on
my system (about 2K lines), the listener responsiveness starts getting
sluggish.

TIA

Larry
