I have a middle of the road perspective in that I find myself using a
mixture of keyboard/mouse interaction style when I work. I still think
that Genera was by far the most effective IDE that I have yet used but
maybe that is just nostalgia at work. I prefer having both styles fully
available to me. Further, as much as I agree with Erik's opinion of
Windows and Visual whatever, it is a hard market fact that this
interface style must be fully supportable both for the IDE and for
application development.
