WISDOM Technologies Corporation, a dynamic new spin-off of Carnegie
Mellon University, is looking for talented, energetic professionals to
join its software development team. WISDOM is commercializing a suite of
Windows-based financial expert systems that employ Artificial
Intelligence technology to optimize treasuries' cash flows, financing,
and investment activities. These systems are producing savings of $1.8M
annually in one of the European companies using them. As part of a
strategic alliance to fully deploy these systems in North America and
beyond, we are looking to fill the following position:

SOFTWARE ENGINEER - JOB # 98301
This position will be responsible for working with our development partner
and the internal development team in augmenting, customizing and
integrating existing code into a client-server based model.
Skill Requirements:
- B.S. or equivalent in Computer Science
- Experience using Common Lisp
- Knowledge of Software Engineering Principles, including design and testing
- Development experience on the Microsoft Windows platform
- Experience working on software teams
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-task oriented environment
Desired Skills:
- Database (such as SQL) integration experience
- Experience with object-oriented programming
- Knowledge of Active-X/OLE and related technologies
- Knowledge of corporate finance
