Subject: Strange dribble-bug message after patching

Date: 1998-10-7 7:41

Hi everybody.

I've just received ACL 5.0 for Windows, and I did a dribble-bug before
and after installing the current patches. I've compared both files and
in the newest of them there's a weird message:

>**** Package violations: >**** FUNCTION: FIND-RESTART
In the Patches section I got:
>Current LISP patches: > 0a002-01: "Fix symbol completion in emacs." > 0a001-01: "Fixes bug in find-restart when using optional condition
argument."
>Current COMPILER patches: > 0b002-01: "Fix self tail recursive call with intermixed args"
So patch 0a001-01 (the one involving find-restart) seem to be installed (though from the message I'm not able to say if OK or not). Does someone know if the "package violations" message is normal? (It sure doesn't look so to me ;) Also, does anyone know why lisp.dxl (after patches) is almost 35K *shorter* than lisporig.dxl (before patches)? Thanks, /L/e/k/t/u
