Subject: Q:Controlling the movement of windows with ACL5.0 for Windows

Date: 1999-3-1 13:36

Hi,

I am looking for a way to control the movement of a window while the user
drags it (via clicking and dragging it's menubar (?)). Specifically I would
like to restrict the movement of the window to vertical movements.

Neither specializing 'Move-Window' nor 'win:WM_MOVE' helped because these
seem to be called after the actual movement has been done. Modifikation of
their parameters does not help at all and using them to set the exterior of
the window to another value results in unacceptable flickering of the
window.

What I would need is something like 'track-limits' for the sizing of
windows.

Any help would be *highly* appreciated.
